What is Telehealth?
Telehealth and Telemedicine are broad terms, often used interchangeably. They are general terms to describe when patients use live audio-visual communication technology to connect with their healthcare providers when the patient and the provider are in different locations. CMS has recently expanded opportunities for Telehealth to accommodate health concerns associated with providing direct patient care during a COVID-19 response. The goal of our Telehealth solution is to maintain the patient’s ability to receive quality care by creating and enabling continued access to their provider.
